This Memorandum for Record from the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), dated January 8, 2024, lists AARO's repeated efforts between June 2023 and January 2024 to interview David Grusch for its congressionally directed Historical Record Report. Grusch agreed to an interview on November 14, 2023, but did not appear, and he cited concerns about classified information. AARO concluded he had no intention of providing information. The release also includes email threads, text messages and authorization memoranda from DoD and ODNI.
Attached are the two items we spoke about: • The Verbal Legal Advisement that we review prior to the start of every interview . • The MFR from SAPCO that makes it clear that AARO can receive compartmented information from interviewees.
