Government Attic · 419 pages · text from the file's own layer

This is Government Attic's posting of a 1969 Library of Congress annotated bibliography, UFOs and Related Subjects, compiled by Lynn E. Catoe for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. The Defense Technical Information Center released it under FOIA in November 2014. The bibliography lists more than 1,600 items and was requested to support the University of Colorado UFO study led by Edward U. Condon. Its preface concludes that no simple, single explanation of the UFO phenomenon applies to all cases.

Ball Lightning and Fireballs
Arnold, Kenneth. Are space visitors here? Fate, Summer 1948: 4-21.

BenedicitS, Carl. Theory of the lightning-balls and its application to tne
atmosphere pnenomenon called ''flying saucers. " Arkiv fOr geofysik,
v. 2, no. :i, 1954: 1-11.
Author theorizes that reported UFO sightings are in reality ball lightning
and gives data supporting his position.
Brand, Walther. Der Kugelblitz. HamlJUrg, Henri Grand, 1923. 170 p.
