Government Attic · 419 pages · text from the file's own layer

This is Government Attic's posting of a 1969 Library of Congress annotated bibliography, UFOs and Related Subjects, compiled by Lynn E. Catoe for the Air Force Office of Scientific Research. The Defense Technical Information Center released it under FOIA in November 2014. The bibliography lists more than 1,600 items and was requested to support the University of Colorado UFO study led by Edward U. Condon. Its preface concludes that no simple, single explanation of the UFO phenomenon applies to all cases.

v. 62, Nov. 1894: 718-'129.
Noting that there was as yet no definite answer to the question I)( \\i·,ether life
can exist on any of the other worlds, the author gives a state-of-thr:-art

Information surrounding discovery of the Orgueil meteorite is given. Con-

Identification of microscopic particles in a fragment of the Orgueil meteorite
which resemble fossilized one-celled crganisms strongly suggest that ea.rly
