This is Spanish Air Force file 761119, released by the Ejército del Aire and declassified in 1994. It covers a luminous phenomenon seen over the Canary Islands on 19 November 1976 by the crew of the training ship Juan Sebastián Elcano, a T-12 aircraft carrying the Canary Islands Air Zone commander, a Spantax crew and witnesses in Guía near Gáldar. The file includes Informe 02/76 with 14 witness statements, radar and weather data, the investigating judge's proposal for a UFO study center, and airline reports of a bright dome over Málaga. The general's own view was that it was an unidentified optical phenomenon.

## E.- DESCRIPCION DE LA TRAYECTORIA 1. - Angulo de elevación al ser visto: 20º 2. - Angulo de elevación al desaparecer: 20º 3. - Línea de vuelo y maniobras: Estático. 4. - ¿Como y cuando desanareció?: Al engrandecer fué nerdiendo intensidad. 5. - Duración de la observación: Perfectamente 7 minutos. ## F. - COMO FUE OBSERVADO 1.- Desde el suelo: NO 2.- En vuelo: SI 3.- Desde el interior de un vehículo: SI 4.- El observador en movimiento: SI 5.- Parado: NO 6.- A ojo desnudo: SI 7.- Con gemelos: NO ## G.- SITUACION Y DETALLES ( Relato manuscrito por el observador de todo lo que recuerde de su observación ); Observé un circulo de luz brillante blanca de mayor tamaño que una luna llena cuando sale. Se veía a través de el, las estrellas se arrechiaban cla-ramente. En la parte inferior se aorecia a una especie de rectángulo de luz verdosa pero no muy clara y si visible perfectamente. Fué agrandandose y perdía intensidad de luz al tiempo que se hacía mayor su diámetro. Fué vis-ible de 6 a 7 minutos, luego se difuminó. EXP 761119 EJERCITO DEL AIRE BIBLIOTECA CENTRAL C.
