This is the printed transcript of a September 9, 2025 hearing held by the U.S. House Oversight Committee's Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets, chaired by Rep. Anna Paulina Luna. The witnesses were Jeffrey Nuccetelli, Alexandro Wiggins, George Knapp, Dylan Borland and Joe Spielberger. They described UAP incursions at Vandenberg Air Force Base from 2003 to 2005 and a tic-tac-shaped object seen from USS Jackson in 2023. Members criticized AARO and called for whistleblower protections and the UAP Disclosure Act.

This hearing of the Task Force on Declassification of Federal Secrets will come to order. Welcome, everyone. Without objection, the Chair may declare a recess at any time. There are no objections. I recognize myself for the purpose of making an opening state- ment. OPENING STATEMENT OF CHAIRWOMAN ANNA PAULINA LUNA REPRESENTATIVE FROM FLORIDA Mrs. LUNA. Good morning, and welcome to the hearing regarding Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) disclosures. For too long, the issue of unidentified anomalous phenomena, commonly known as UAPs, has been shrouded in secrecy, stigma, and in some cases outright dismissal. Today, I want to state clearly that this is not science fiction or creating speculation. This is about national security, government accountability, and the American people’s right to the truth. I have spoken now to a number of whistleblowers from the mili- tary to include the infamous Eglin Air Force Base incident that oc- curred when myself and former Representative Matt Gates, as well as Representative Burchett, followed up on a lead from multiple ac- tive duty Air Force pilot whistleblowers that alleged that the
