This record, from the Brazilian Air Ministry's I Regional Air Command (I COMAR), 2nd Section, is marked confidential and logs UFO sightings in Pará state. Each entry gives the place, date, color, shape, movement, estimated altitude, distance and witnesses. The sightings run from September 1977 into November 1977 at Colares, Santo Antônio do Tauá, Vigia, Mosqueiro and the Bay of Marajó. Witnesses reported physical effects such as paralysis, and the A2/I COMAR team made its own observations with theodolite angles and photographs. Copies of local newspaper clippings from 1978 are attached.

1977 - 23.11 - 09:30/10:30P- RBLATO 59A - CL 8 - F44 - Objeto Aéreo (não era avião), de forma oval-cilindrica, cor Vermelha/ e brilho metálico na parte superior; deslocava-se com grande velocidade (maior que a de avião à jato), no sentido SE/NE, a baixa altura (1.000/1.200m), passando à distância de 1.500m do observador; media aproximadamente 1.00m de comprimimento por // 0,50m de largura (diámetro); movimentava-se de maneira irregu-lar( o que chamou atenção do Relator) como se fosse uma folha ao vento, parava rapidamente, girava e se deslocavacom velocidade, como se recebesse impulsos; após efetuar várias evolu-ções, aumentou muito sua velocidade e em linha reta desapareceu para o lado do nascente um pouco para o Norte (NE) (sic), NB - O Relator encontrava-se sozinho, mais acredita que outras pessoas também viram o "objeto"
