This document, released by the Central Intelligence Agency and held by the National Archives of Australia, is an Australian Department of Defence paper from about 1971 on the scientific and intelligence aspects of the UFO problem. It traces the history of US official handling of UFOs through Projects Sign, Grudge and Blue Book, the Robertson panel and the Condon report, and it argues that a covert programme and gravity research continued. It recommends that another Australian government department take over UFO investigation from the RAAF.
