From the source: Release of 2026-06-12 Incident: 1968, Ladakh, Nepal | Sikkim, India | Bhutam. A 1968 report about UFO sightings in Ladakh, Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan. Seven UFO sightings are listed that took place between 19 Feb. to 25 Mar. 1968. A more redacted version of the report has been available on CIA's public website.

Direction was reported as being from Southeast to North-west over Thungkarla, Lachung, Lachen & Muguthang. Over Chhamo and Sese La, the direction was reportedly from North-east to South-west. The latter direction coincides with the one over Nepal and is likely to be more correct since the date and timing of the flight of object also coincide. This object giving light from tail. It is light enough to brighten the entire area. Thunder sound was heard after sighting the object.
