CIA-UAP-006, Sighting Of Unconventional Aircraft

This is a Central Intelligence Agency information report on the USSR, marked as unevaluated information. It records a sighting on 4 October 1955 by a US corporate executive traveling by train from Baku to Tiflis in the Azerbaijan SSR. The source and his companions watched a searchlight follow a triangular object about the size of a jet fighter as it spiraled up from an airfield near the Caspian coast and then climbed steeply. The report adds that an MVD officer had the train's blinds drawn.
