This is an FBI file serial containing an October 3, 1966 memo from the Los Angeles SAC to the Director. It reports that the Philadelphia Division forwarded Issue No. 24 (July 1966) of Flying Saucers International, the journal of the Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs of America. A subscriber believed an article in it followed the Communist Party line. That article was a message said to come from Korendor via Bob Renaud's radio. Los Angeles had no record of Renaud and planned no further action. Attached newspaper clippings cover sightings including the Wanaque Reservoir UFOs and an 1896 Oakland airship.

The Fhil.adelphia D~v1s1on by letter dated 9/22/66,
f urnished the Los Angeles Division with Iosue No. 24 dated
July, 1966, entitled "FLYING SAUCERS INTERNATIONAL", which is
the official journal of the Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs
of America, Inc. The Philadelphia Division received the
magazine from Mr. JARVIS H. COOPER, IRS, 401 North Broad Street,
Ph11adelph1a, Pennsylvania on 9/19766. Mr. COOPER stated he
subscribed to the magazine because his eon had exhibited an
interest in fly ng saucers and outer space. He said that on
pages 2 and 3 of Issue No. 24 was an article which he believed
exJ.)OWlded the Communist Party (CP) line.

Inc. 1s located at 20o4 North Hoover Street, Los Angeles,
Galif"ornia. The article on pages 2 and 3, were allegedly
written by Master KALEN-h JIBTAN, Head of the pld KORENDOR,
wh1ch was received on 5/4/66 by special directional short-wave
radio by BOD RENAUD.

1n:f'ornat1on identifiable w'ith RENAUD, &nd no investigation has
ever been conducted on captioned organization.
