This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section (62-HQ-83894, Section 10) holds UFO-related correspondence from 1966 to 1977. In a 1966 letter, Florence C. Dow of Goffstown, New Hampshire asked whether subscribing to the Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs of America journal might link her to communists. J. Edgar Hoover replied that the Bureau does not evaluate organizations, and a copy of the journal is enclosed. Other items include a 1977 Air Force fact sheet on the end of Project Blue Book and a White House inquiry answered by the FBI, which said it had no jurisdiction over UFO sightings.

DAVE T. OZANNE
On March 9 , 1973 , Sergeant Paul Stigliano, United
States Air Force , Recruiting Office , Professional Building,
Waco , Texas , advised that a man identifying himself as Dave
T . Ozanne contacted the night - shift supervisor at the Waco
Tribune Newspaper , and inquired regarding any information
the newspaper could be able to furnish him concerning any
unidentified flying objects observed in the Waco , Texas area .
Ozanne had identified himself as a Captain in the United States
Air Force . Ozanne was described as having on an Air Force
uniform with a chaplain ' s badge on the uniform . Ozanne also
had i n his possession at the time a folder marked Top Secret
wh i ch contained pictures of various military installations .
No spec i fic information concerning these photos could be
provided by Sergeant Stigliano .
Sergeant Stigliano stated that when Ozanne was
informed that they could provide no information to him he
l eft his card which contained his name ank the following

Sergeant Stigliano advised that the individual did
not act in any strange m~1ner , and did not attempt to obtain
anything other than information from the newspaper. Sergeant
Stigliano advised that this information was being furnished
to t he proper authorities only for information purposes as
they do not suspect any unlawful activity .
