This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section (62-HQ-83894, Section 10) holds UFO-related correspondence from 1966 to 1977. In a 1966 letter, Florence C. Dow of Goffstown, New Hampshire asked whether subscribing to the Amalgamated Flying Saucer Clubs of America journal might link her to communists. J. Edgar Hoover replied that the Bureau does not evaluate organizations, and a copy of the journal is enclosed. Other items include a 1977 Air Force fact sheet on the end of Project Blue Book and a White House inquiry answered by the FBI, which said it had no jurisdiction over UFO sightings.

The records include high-profile incident accounts, photographic evidence from sites like Oak Ridge, TN, and technical proposals regarding potential propulsion systems. Additional topics include convention programs, researcher accounts, and extensive media coverage from the period. This file is partially posted on FBI vault with more redactions and some pages missing. Included here is the complete case file with several newly declassified pages and only minor redactions.

This shall be accomplished by zeroxed documents and photographs that General Wolfe had reviewed when he was head of the Army's UFO support program in the Pentagon during the Eisenhower years. Sorry, but it is concluded here that this is the best course to take because we feel that the secret UF6 investigations are parallel in nature to the Times Pentagon Vietnam controversy.
