This section of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's flying saucer file 62-HQ-83894 holds FBI correspondence from 1957 to 1966. It includes a November 1957 memo saying Air Force Intelligence found the post-Sputnik sightings nonauthentic, and a Havana report of a hat-shaped disc over Matahambre, Cuba. It also has inquiries into Robert T. Stone's Inter Continental Aerial Research Foundation, a Torrington, Connecticut sighting referral, and replies to members of the public. The replies say UFOs are not within FBI jurisdiction and refer writers to the Air Force.

The FBI's 62-HQ-83894 case file includes investigative records, eyewitness testimonies, and public reports concerning Unidentified Flying Objects and flying discs documented between June 1947 and July 1968. The records include high-profile incident accounts, photographic evidence from sites like Oak Ridge, TN, and technical proposals regarding potential propulsion systems. Additional topics include convention programs, researcher accounts, and extensive media coverage from the period. This file is partially posted on FBI vault with more redactions and some pages missing. Included here is the complete case file with several newly declassified pages and only minor redactions.

He did refer to the human race numerous times but al l reterencee to Government and economy could only be taken as meaning the u. s. Cne question put to him waa whether sightings had been made in .Ruaa1a or China. He anawered this by saying a1gh.t1ng11 had been reported all over the world, but then •~c1t1cally mentioned only the U. s. , Australia, Ne• zealand, and Hew Guinea . He also mentioned that he waa not advocating or asking tor any action on the part of the audience becauae he ea1d evll haa a way or destroying 1t•elt. He did aay that he telt that the audience, of about 250 persona, were the o~ intelligent ~opl e in Denver and he knew they had not come out or curioeity but because they wanted to do the right th.1.ng . He aaid that they were above the average 1n :intelligence and when the critical time came, the world would need people such as thia to thirik and guide .
