This Federal Bureau of Investigation file section, part of file 62-HQ-83894, gathers flying saucer correspondence and memoranda mostly from 1952, with some from 1954. It includes a Savannah River Plant sighting teletype, Hoover replies that send public letters on to the Air Force, a San Diego report on Borderland Sciences, and a laboratory exam of the scoutmaster Desvergers' cap that found no residue. It also covers instructions to refer disc reports to OSI and a 1954 Cincinnati matter involving Truman Bethurum.

The FBI's 62-HQ-83894 case file includes investigative records, eyewitness testimonies, and public reports concerning Unidentified Flying Objects and flying discs documented between June 1947 and July 1968. The records include high-profile incident accounts, photographic evidence from sites like Oak Ridge, TN, and technical proposals regarding potential propulsion systems. Additional topics include convention programs, researcher accounts, and extensive media coverage from the period. This file is partially posted on FBI vault with more redactions and some pages missing. Included here is the complete case file with several newly declassified pages and only minor redactions.

Mr. EICKfDFF advised he is the operator of a beaut y salon in the Neave Building, Cincinnati, and llr. ZIMMERMANN advised he is President of the Zimmermann Packing Company in Cincinnati. Mr. EICKHOFF did all the talking for the two men and he 1'urn:i.shed the follOl'fing informa tion: On 6-3- 54 an ad appeared in the "Cincinnati Enquirer," a newspaper of general circulation, Cincinnati, Ohio, to the effect that on 6-ll-S4 a program would be presented at Taf't Auditorium, Cincinnati, Ohio, on "The Real Fl.ying Saucer Story." The advertisement which Mr. EICKHOFF exhibited disclosed no sponsor f or this program and it was only noted on the ad that tickets f'or the program sold for $2.00 per person and would be on sale at the Central Ticket Office in Cincinnati. Mr. EICKHOFF advised that although he belongs to no organization interested in flying saucers, he has been interested in this subject and has been interested to the extent that he desired to know the sponsorship of the program. He stated that he found out .f'ran the Central Ticket Office that the ad had been placed by IENRY MADAY, 364 West Lewiston Avenue, / Ferndale 201 Michigan. He advised that he telephonically contacted MADAY /. on 6-3-54 and MADAY stated that he was only the-ia~for renting the ~'/ '/ hall and that he was acting on behalf of TR~THURUM and GEO:OOE / HUNT WILLIA!.IBON. He stated•that on 6-4- 54 MADAY called him back and told him that there had been a disagreement between MADAY, BETHURUM and WlLLIAMSON over MADAY' s arrangements for the sale of tickets for the program and the renting of the hall.
