Federal Bureau of Investigation · 209 pages · text by GLM-OCR

This is Section 5 of the FBI's flying disk file 62-HQ-83894, made up of 1949 and 1950 correspondence. Most of it covers a letter sent to Walter Winchell by Peter Camerlon Jones, who said he saw a silver top-shaped object near Los Angeles in 1947. The Los Angeles office could not find him, and the Bureau suggested the letter was a prank. The section also holds a Navy intelligence report on 6 or 7 discs seen over southern Oregon on 27 May 1949, plus several letters from citizens.

I do not believe this is horse feathers so much as I did in the drawings sent you sat. Ubalsty said on the snow with runners on this sancer little a shed centrifugal force will pull hers at a hell of speed. The jets are used on little off there is wheels on the sancers there are wheels they are pulled up into places in the sancer from the inside and some how or other a piece covers the spot on the outside the drawing shows that but I cannot figure out how it done from the inside of the sancer. How I believe this is all the done I can give you on them. Ubalsty said the big sancers are oblong fors and oft but round in the middle — just as the round sancers are something little this. You know what I mean only I cannot draw it.

I will mail this from Ulster monday 10 1950 and trust you will put this into the right hands
