SAVAGE stated that there were no protrusions on this object and as it
went by he listened for a sound of noise, etid at one time thou~ht he dis
tinguished a swishin~ sound like the rushing of air. This swishing sound
occurred a few seconds after this object had passed him. SAVAGE aV-erred
this sound was not very loud and did not last very long, and it is very
possible that the sound could have been his ima&ination or expectation, as
he was not sure of the sound . SPVAGE related that he called his wife to
see this object but it had disappeared before she could focus her eyes on
it. Subjeot stated that the objeot appeared to diminish in size and
speed as it movffirffl:1• and it we.s moving in a direction of 350° to the
north. Subj ect7stated that the object appeared to be frosty white in
color at all times .
SAVAGE advised that he has held a pilot's certificate since 1934 and
has been flying since 1929. He advised that he v:oulcl be :!;lad to answer any
further inquiries and will cooperate in every way possiole. SAVAGE stated
he was sure this object was not a meteor and in his opinion it must be
radically built end powered, probably atomic.
