Mr Robert Thatcher, an AF Veteran, now a Science teacher at the Francisco Jr High School, called Hq 4th AF to report a yellow light flash across the sky at approximately 2113 hours the night of 29 November 1948. Light was headed due North then turned North- Northwest and disappeared. It lasted for about 7 seconds and appeared to be traveling too fast for a plane.
