This is a preliminary transcript of the Gemini V (GT-5) flight crew debriefing, prepared by NASA's Spacecraft Operations Branch, Flight Crew Support Division, and dated September 1, 1965. It records Cooper and Conrad's operational account from the debriefing held August 30 to September 1, 1965 at Cape Kennedy. Topics include countdown, window fogging, POGO vibration, fairing jettison debris, radio loss, reentry and recovery. Visual sightings are left for a later part of the debriefing.

So , I guess they never did even call it up from the ground . You just saw it in t he Flight Plan . It was in the Flight Plan - - But they riever called it out . They never called it out . I haven ' t got it written down , either . Okay, on through the second day we did another UHF Test , another Medical Data, on 2 days 12 hours and 50 minutes. That ' s when we first powered the platform back up. We were still building up. Two days and 13 hours, we powered the platform back up and we did a UHF No . 1 , we did a D- 1 sequence 2, we did a D- 1 sequence 3, we did a D-6 sequence 12 ; and these are all s t ateside passes . That was a busy time ! We did a D- 6 at day 2, 14 hours . We did a D- 4/D-7 at 14: 35 . What ' s this , now? I have the platform power up , a D- 4 , a UHF 2 Right .
