This is a preliminary transcript of Part II of the Gemini 4 (GT-4) flight crew debriefing, prepared by NASA's Spacecraft Operations Branch, Flight Crew Support Division, and dated June 18, 1965. The debriefing began aboard the recovery ship USS Wasp and ended at the Manned Spacecraft Center. In it, astronauts McDivitt and White discuss how the spacecraft systems performed, including the platform, OAMS, RCS and control modes. They also cover operational checks, visual sightings, experiments, mission planning and training, and give recommendations for future crews.

Part II of this document contains the “Visual Sightings” section of the debriefing (pages 196-224), where astronauts James McDivitt and Edward White describe their observations while aboard the spacecraft.

crunchies just about. It had one drink in it.
Every bag that I had, except one, that had any
form of an orange drink in it, leaked.
Mine started leaking, too , as soon as you mentioned
it.
I only had one other bag that leaked or maybe two
other bags that leaked . I think that the rate of
leakage was just i.macceptable. I think those bags
are going to have to be fixed.
No toast.
We didn't open up the toast.
Well, I ate that one thing of cinnamon toast .
I ate the cinnamon toast because you discovered
that it had a coating on it and it didn ' t crumble
so much.
I guess there was only the one cinnamon toast .
Overall, I thought the food was good and there
wasn ' t too much of it.
That peanut stuff also kind of crumbled.
Yes .
I think we ought to include more meats. I think
the bacon was outst1J.11ding.
Oh, that bacon was absolutely great. f
