This is a preliminary transcript of Part II of the Gemini 4 (GT-4) flight crew debriefing, prepared by NASA's Spacecraft Operations Branch, Flight Crew Support Division, and dated June 18, 1965. The debriefing began aboard the recovery ship USS Wasp and ended at the Manned Spacecraft Center. In it, astronauts McDivitt and White discuss how the spacecraft systems performed, including the platform, OAMS, RCS and control modes. They also cover operational checks, visual sightings, experiments, mission planning and training, and give recommendations for future crews.

Part II of this document contains the “Visual Sightings” section of the debriefing (pages 196-224), where astronauts James McDivitt and Edward White describe their observations while aboard the spacecraft.

As Ed sa.ys,as the time went on you could tell a.bout where you ' re going to be just by knowing the cor rection . It didn't change much . So, we found these to be pretty useful . We didn't really get to start using them until the second day . I didn ' t know you had them in there . We took them out, I guess, one time when you were sleeping just for the heck of it and, my gosh, they started working pretty well. I used them almost exclusively once we got them out. Yes . We had a l ot of other information onboard and I don't know whether we should go into all that stuff now? Oh , yes , I took schematics of all the systems right out of the GOH. I didn ' t ever have to use them.,but I thought it was worthwhile having them along.
