This Federal Bureau of Investigation FD-302 from 2026 records a written statement signed by an FBI Special Agent describing an unidentified aerial object. At about 2100 hours, the agent saw a thermally elevated object flying southbound in the same western sector as an object seen the previous night. Compared with video of a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter, the object appeared about half the Black Hawk's size. The agent could not determine its type or propulsion before terrain and distance hid it from view.

This FD-302 records a 2026 interview with a U.S. Government Special Agent, in which the interviewee describes an incident potentially involving unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP) in the western United States, at approximately 9:00 PM local time, in 2026.

Due t o the increased distance and terrain separation , I was unabl e t o i dentify specific physical characteristics of t h e object or determine its exact c onfiguration . However, the ob ject presented as a hot aerial object t h rough therma l observation and appeared t o be f lying southbound , consistent with the general direction of travel observed during t h e prio r n i ght's sighting _ During this same operationa l period, I als o recorded video o f a u _s .
