This Federal Bureau of Investigation Newark Field Office file covers 1952 to 1967 and mostly holds memos recording phone calls from New Jersey residents about unidentified flying objects. Agents usually passed these reports to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations. It also includes a 1952 OSI request to look into the backgrounds of photographer John H. Riley and witness George J. Stock of Passaic, a 1963 Air Force letter to Hoover enclosing a Saucer News item, NICAP correspondence, and newspaper clippings about flying saucer clubs.

These files include memoranda and correspondence between the FBI and the U.S. Air Force regarding UFO sightings, as well as public correspondence concerning various UFO-focused groups.
