This U.S. Air Force compilation, released by the U.S. Department of War, holds numbered checklists and survey sheets for flying object incidents 1 through 100. It covers sightings by officers, test pilots and civilians at Muroc Army Air Field on 7 and 8 July 1947, and sightings by Portland, Oregon police on 4 July 1947. It also includes fireballs seen over California, Nevada and Oregon on 30 December 1947, a Houston fireball, and Finnish reports from January 1948.

Lt Gov Whitehead said that he saw a "comet-like object hanging in the western sky June 24." He stated that the object "didn't move but just seemed to go below the horizon with the rotation of the earth."
