on the morning of 10 July 1947 we were coming up over the north bank between there and Glenville Grove. The car was cold up until we could see the sky through the mistfield. R. Cochrall said "look at the city in the sky". I looked and saw a bluish black vapor trail. The clouds were very scattered and were about 2000 to 10,000 feet. The object turned through and out of the clouds leaving a gap where you could see the blue sky, like a jungle had cut it. The barren from featureless similar to a wolf, and if you are a child in half, the attribution course of the object was approximately local North East. The trail was bluish black in color, very easily distinguished from the blue sky. The trail was more or less a bluish across the sky in a straight path.
