This U.S. Air Force compilation, released by the U.S. Department of War, holds numbered checklists and survey sheets for flying object incidents 1 through 100. It covers sightings by officers, test pilots and civilians at Muroc Army Air Field on 7 and 8 July 1947, and sightings by Portland, Oregon police on 4 July 1947. It also includes fireballs seen over California, Nevada and Oregon on 30 December 1947, a Houston fireball, and Finnish reports from January 1948.

Cross say three disks following each other at an undetermined altitude at terrific speed, traveling in a northwesterly direction. He noticed a whitish brown glint to them as the sun reflected from them. Could give no other description nor could he judge the speed or altitude. No sound was made by the objects.
