This U.S. Air Force compilation, released by the U.S. Department of War, holds numbered checklists and survey sheets for flying object incidents 1 through 100. It covers sightings by officers, test pilots and civilians at Muroc Army Air Field on 7 and 8 July 1947, and sightings by Portland, Oregon police on 4 July 1947. It also includes fireballs seen over California, Nevada and Oregon on 30 December 1947, a Houston fireball, and Finnish reports from January 1948.

Mr & Mrs Fred Thunell advised that they and 5 other people observed five groups each containing 35 to 60 small objects of yellowish-white color circling the city at a high rate of speed. They were several thousand feet in the air and it was impossible to ascertain the size due to the distance, speed and cloudy conditions.
