One year ago Saturday Zam investigated what sounded two explosions in the hills so of Socorro, towards the end an afternoon-evening shift.
What he found kept him aw nights so he transferred to 19 p.m. 6 a.m. shift.
As far as unidentified fly objects (UFS's) go, said the Air Force UFO investigator, J. Allen Hynek of Northwest University, "This is one of classic cases." He said he was more puzzled than ever after investigation.

" didn't see a flying saucer; don't even know what one would like."
The experience has had an effect on the officer. He now tries to keep someone with him while on duty. He had just let his partner of their patrol car for dinner a year ago today when he gave up to a speeding car. The heard...what sounded like the explosions and gave up the chance to investigate, finding what thought was an overturned car on a wash on a hill.
Two figures in white overa were outside the vehicle, mora said.
"Then a big noise started al it (the UPO) came up and he red there. I could hear a low bing, bing, bing." I didn't know whether to short, start running or call back for help. I crouched behind my car.
