This document, released as additional information for Australian Senate Estimates, reproduces the Office of the Director of National Intelligence's Preliminary Assessment on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, dated 25 June 2021. It was prepared for congressional committees under Senate Report 116-233 and covers mostly US Government reports from November 2004 to March 2021. It finds that limited data hampers firm conclusions and that most UAP are probably physical objects. It proposes five explanatory categories and concludes that UAP pose a flight safety issue and possibly a national security challenge.
