This Office of the Secretary of Defense FOIA release (case 22-F-0249), dated May 16, 2023, collects public affairs material about the Airborne Object Identification and Management Synchronization Group (AOIMSG). It contains Deputy Secretary Kathleen Hicks' November 23, 2021 memo creating the AOIMSG and an executive council to succeed the Navy's UAP Task Force. It also holds press releases, briefing cards with talking points and answers, a spokesperson statement and news clips.

Part of the response included, "The presidential helicopter replacement program continues to execute to its acquisition strategy of integrating government defined mission systems into a commercial helicopter, while maintaining FAA airworthiness certification and adding no new critical technologies. A concerted effort between WHMO, DCA, PMA-274, and HMX-1 will ensure a safe and successful transition to the VH-92A. HMX-1 has some of the most professional and capable maintenance Marines from the fleet to ensure every aircraft remains fully operational and in support of presidential transport." 2
