This Office of the Secretary of Defense FOIA release (20-F-1098) holds a December 2019 to January 2020 email exchange between Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough and Steven Greenstreet of the New York Post about AATIP. Gough stated that the Defense Intelligence Agency ran AATIP and that Luis Elizondo had no assigned responsibilities for it. She said neither AATIP nor AAWSAP was UAP related. Greenstreet pressed her on earlier contradictory statements from spokespeople Chris Sherwood and Dana White.

What is the Department of Defense's policy on former employees publicly claiming false credentials regarding their previous employment at DoD? 8
