This 2025 Office of the Secretary of Defense FOIA release (25-F-1324) collects Defense Office of Prepublication and Security Review records on Christopher Mellon's submissions, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, from 2022 to 2024. His article "The Next Step: UAPs in Space and America's New Sputnik Moment" was cleared in July 2022, and his speech "UAPs and ET" was cleared as amended for accuracy. His foreword to Luis Elizondo's book was cleared in January 2024.

If DoD again fails to respond its on you guys, I feel I've done my part to submit for pre-pub review. I also called and left a message. It isn't obvious from the website either where to submit docs for review. That is astonishing to me as that would seem to be the #1 reason people go to your website. Why isn't there an easy and obvious highlighted link saying "To Submit Docs for Pre-Publication Review Click Here" or something along those lines? I have no reason to believe there is anything the least bit sensitive here but I do want to be sure to comply as required. 1
