This Office of the Secretary of Defense FOIA release (24-F-0250) centers on a January 8, 2024 AARO memorandum for record. The memo describes the office's repeated attempts through 2023 to interview David Grusch for its Historical Record Report. It concludes that Grusch had no intention of giving AARO information about his claims. The release also includes text messages with Chris Mellon and congressional staff, email exchanges with Grusch, and DoD SAPCO and ODNI CAPCO memos stating that AARO may receive classified and NDA-protected UAP information.

It needs to be someone who represents AARO in the Executive Branch. There are a dozen Hill committees with Majority and Minority counsel who may not even agree.
