This Office of the Secretary of Defense FOIA release (24-F-0893) collects Pentagon public affairs and legislative affairs emails from March 4 to 6, 2024. They include a Scientific American editor's request to join the press list for an AARO media event and a daily press operations summary. The file also holds readouts of Hill briefings. Acting AARO Director Tim Phillips and Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick briefed congressional staff on the Historical Record Report, including KONA BLUE. A separate SASC briefing covered drone incursions at JBLE in December.

Ernst expressed concerns regarding drones being used at the southwest border and dissatisfaction with DHS having lead responsibilities. • Members expressed an eagerness to legislate on the topic and to see the Department be proactive on cUAS.
