This assortment of records released by the Office of the Secretary of Defense collects 1975 National Military Command Center memoranda and message traffic. They cover unidentified helicopters and low-flying aircraft seen over weapons storage areas at Loring AFB, Maine, and Wurtsmith AFB, Michigan, along with radar and visual UFO contacts at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. The file also contains a 1976 defense attaché report on F-4 intercepts of a UFO over Tehran and Air Force UFO statistics for 1965.

# N M C C # THE NATIONAL MILITARY COMMAND CENTER WASHINGTON. D.C. 20301 MEMORANDUM FOR RECORD Subject: AFB Penetration 1. At 290200 EST AFOC informed NNCC that an unidentified helicopter, possibly two, had been sighted flying low over Loring AFB Maine, in proximity to a weapons storage area. 2. An Army National Guard helo was called in to assist in locating the unidentified helo(s). 3. NORAD was informed of the incident by SAC, requested and recieved authority from Canadian officials to proceed into Canadian airspace if necessary to locate the intruder. 4. At 0404 SAC Command Center informed NMCC that the army helo assisting on the scene had not sighted the unidentified helo(s) 5.
