This is a New Zealand Defence Force public release of RNZAF file AIR 39/3/3, "Flying Saucers," which covers 1952 to 1955 and was declassified in September 2010 under the Official Information Act. It collects sighting reports from the public and military personnel, press clippings, and a table of 1952 sightings. It also holds Carter Observatory opinions attributing some reports to meteors. A large part covers the inquiry into lights seen from National Airways Corporation Flight 108 on 31 October 1955, which the RNZAF could not fully explain as Venus.

En 1849, au Groënland, les Esquimaux tiraient le fc dont ils avaient besoin, de trois météorites pesant respectivement 30 tonnes, 30 tonnes 1/2 et 966 livres. Elles avaient toutes les trois la même composi tion : 91,47 de fer - 7,78 de nickel - 0,52 de cobalt - 0,016 de cuivre et 0,118 de phosphore.

Dans l'ensemble de celles qui peuplent les musées et dont on évalue le poids à environ 300 tonnes, l'analyse chimique et l'examen spectrographique ont montré la présence de tous les corps de la série de Mendeleieff.

C'est la preuve de l'unité de la création mais cette unité peut n'être que qualitative. Or, la proportion des composants réunis dans ces alliages peut faire varier leurs points de fusion et contribuer ainsi à la dispersion des apparitions de soucoupes volantes.

Prenons l'exemple d'un composé d'argent, qui fond à 960° et de cuivre qui fond à 1084°. Il se trouve que lorsque cet alliage contient 28 % de cuivre, son point de fusion s'abaisse à 750°. Un alliage d'aluminium qui fond à 657° et de calcium qui fond à 805° trouve son point de fusion à 700° entre 20 et 45 % de calcium et à 550° pour 73 % de calcium.

Notre hypothèse pourrait évidement être vérifiée par des essais de laboratoire. Nous ne pouvons que les suggérer. En tous cas elle explique, raisonnablement, des phénomènes accidentels qui ne sont pas des prodiges.

Ne voit-on pas aujourd'hui, les avions à réaction laisser dans le ciel un sillage permanent. Ce sillage pourrait tout aussi bien présenter des solutions de continuité, avec un mauvais fonctionnement
