This National Security Agency release, labeled Part G of its Communications Intelligence (COMINT) reports, contains undated, heavily redacted message traffic. The intercepts record radar tracking of unidentified flying objects, usually several at a time, moving westward at altitudes of roughly 5,000 to 99,000 feet. Many are marked as probable balloons, and one entry names Makung and objects crossing a strait. One report describes two unidentifiable objects flying at about 930 km/h on 5 June and says it could not be determined whether they were aircraft, missiles or something else.

10. ON 5 JUNE TWO UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS FLEW OVER THE NORTH OF FROM 1142 THROUGH 1148. THE OBJECTS WERE INDICATED AS FRIENDLY AND NUMBERING TWO SUT THAT THEY WERE UN-IDENTIFIABLE. THEIR ALTITUDE WAS NOT INDICATED. THEIR SPEED AS COMPUTED ON CHART WAS APPROXIMATELY 930 KMH. WHETHER THEY WERE AIRCRAFTS, MISSILES OR SOME OTHER FLYING OBJECTS COULD NOT BE DETERMINED.
