This is a Freedom of Information Act request to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, dated 23 December 1985 and logged as FOIA-85-848. The requester asks for all records of "Unusual Events" and possible security threats at the Indian Point nuclear power plant around 24 July 1984, including any violations of the plant's airspace. Two newspaper clippings are attached. One is a National Enquirer story in which security guards and police describe a huge diamond-shaped UFO over the plant. The other covers an October 1985 earthquake that the plant classified as an Unusual Event.
