This combined PDF of newspaper clippings, attributed to NICAP and the USAF with no date given, reports Lt. George Gorman's October 1 night encounter over Fargo, North Dakota. Gorman, of the North Dakota Air National Guard's 178th Fighter Squadron, said a small lighted object outran and outmaneuvered his F-51 for nearly half an hour, making head-on passes before climbing out of sight. Two control tower operators and a Cub pilot, optometrist Dr. A. E. Cannon, supported his account.

# Lighted FlyingDisk 'Eludes' F-51 Pilot Second Flyer, 2 out 1 round Support Story of Chase PARDO, N. D. Oct. 3. A National Guard Rathen police today told a store of a thirty-member enclosure with a residential living object over this city in the dark-brown land north—and also account was supported by two control town operations and another Pier. In a squared statement for Air Force intelligence, the pilot, Lincoln Guard, Orteger Diagram of the 17th Fighter Squadron, North Dakota Air National Guard, murreid that he closed and enguard an aerial maneuvers with a Uphard disk-like object which outran and outmaneuvered him. He was flying an P-30 Talber. Watching them find the object with binoculars were Leland Johnson and H. E. Johnson, both of Fargo, constrict lower operations at Electron Airport twice. The police of a Cub plane, Dr. A. E. Cameron, of Fargo, also reported watching the proceedings. Lindemouth Gorman said he had enough sight of the lighted object at about 4,500 feet. It one-curved and outreach him, for nearly a half hour until he lost it at 17,000 feet.
