· 341 pages · text by OCR

This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Early passages cover staging, orbit insertion and stationkeeping with the booster, which the crew reports is venting heavily, and they photograph it. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

101:36:13	C	Roger. The pilot will put on his orbital flight pajamas.
101:36:18	CC	... Roger.
101:36:35	P	CSQ, Gemini VII.
101:36:37	CC	Go ahead, VII.
101:36:39	P	Roger. We're playing with this photometer now. There is so much cloud cover out here that we haven't been able to get a good stretch of water. We've ... but we're working at it. So far we haven't been able to get it to change from RED to GREEN. Excuse me, from RED to GREEN unless we're right over clouds. Then it changes.
101:36:59	CC	Okay. I'll pass that back.
101:37:04	P	Thank you.
101:37:45	CC	Gemini VII, CSQ. You look real good on the telemetry. We have nothing else. Standing by.
101:37:51	P	Roger and thank you.
101:49:03	C	We would now like to record a commentary in the case of the wounded leg.
101:49:08	P	We see all this - our efforts ... on the left-hand side, ... Colonel Frank Borman on the pulled muscle of his leg.
101:49:24	C	... my left leg, doing isometric exercises, and I just don't want anybody to think that this is the result of the OGA. I felt it go this morning when I was straining against the safety belt.
101:49:28	P	That's about 85 or 90 hours.
101:49:30	C	That's right.
101:49:31	P	And I will authenticate same. Lovell dumping urine.
