This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Early passages cover staging, orbit insertion and stationkeeping with the booster, which the crew reports is venting heavily, and they photograph it. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

## CONFIDENTIAL 74:47:00 CC Okay. We've got all that. Do you need anything else? 74:47:02 P Not a thing. 74:47:04 CC Okay. This is your Panel Controller standing by. You need not acknowledge. 74:47:07 P Thank you. 74:54:58 P S-6 at 74:54:58; taking a picture of what looks to be a low forming over Mexico. A very well-developed flow pattern. 74:55:10 C Watch it ... we're coming right over it. 74:55:11 P Taking an S-5 Sequence; 74:57:43; ... I was trying to record then... TEXAS 74:55:36 CC Gemini VII, Gemini VII, Houston CAP COM. Over. 74:55:39 C Roger. Houston. 74:55:41 CC Roger. How have things been going up there, Frank? 74:55:43 C Good. 74:55:44 CC Good. I've got a briefing on your Cryos - what we would like to suggest you do, if you'd like to listen in. 74:55:51 C Go ahead. 74:55:52 CC Okay. First of all, the ECS O2. The pressure decrease has pretty well stabilized out to be about zero. Between now and the expected time that the sleep period begins, it's probably going to start increasing in pressure up to a point of about 3 psi per hour and then continue a slow increase during your sleep cycle. So what we're going to be recommending is that you keep your ECS O2 heaters off, and they're probably going to remain off through the rest of the mission. ## CONFIDENTIAL
