This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Early passages cover staging, orbit insertion and stationkeeping with the booster, which the crew reports is venting heavily, and they photograph it. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

## CONFIDENTIAL 71:49:37 C It's been good. 71:49:42 C Okay on the systems. 71:49:44 CC Okay, and you can turn off your H2 switch now. 71:49:50 CC Okay. The first curve I have in your book here is the estimated propellant usage. If you adjust the curve down for the maneuvers we've made ahead of time here, raising the perigee, we feel you're running about 12 pounds ahead on that curve. That's at approximately 70 hours. 71:50:17 C Okay. 71:50:19 CC The next one is primary O2. As you know, you show ending up with about a 38 percent at the completion of the mission. We show you're running about 4 percent ahead of that at the present time. 71:50:34 C Roger. 71:50:36 CC The next one is the full cell Cryos. We show you're expecting about 15 percent at completion of mission. We show you're running about 2 percent ahead of that on oxygen and about 4 percent ahead on hydrogen. 71:50:52 C Roger. 71:50:57 CC On the water, we show you're running just about on the line for water usage, based on the equipment adapter water only. Of course, in addition to that you have your retro water, so looks like you're in real good shape on that. 71:51:13 C Roger. 71:51:17 CC In regard to the... 71:51:22 CC You're probably about as familiar with that as we are. Understand you didn't have to pump any of them up during the night. They all held very well. The ECS O2 usage appears to drop substantially during the sleep period, and so it's holding very constant at about 700 pounds, we show here. The fuel cell oxygen pressure dropped the most of all of them and apparently we have a real good bottle there. ## CONFIDENTIAL
