· 341 pages · text by GLM-OCR

This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Early passages cover staging, orbit insertion and stationkeeping with the booster, which the crew reports is venting heavily, and they photograph it. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

## CONFIDENTIAL

67:11:21	P	Yes, I sure feel out of place up here.
67:11:29	CC	Are you taking humidity readings occasionally and recording those?
67:11:35	P	Roger. We took a full set last night, including some skin temperatures of myself.
67:11:41	CC	Roger. And did you make that tape recording of your stationkeeping exercise?
67:11:48	P	Roger. We've done that too.
67:11:50	CC	Very good. I've got one more thing I would like to ask of you now, and that is to make an accurate sunset and sunrise time check. What we're interested in is to have you pinpoint what you would consider exact sunrise and sunset times to check us on our flight planning activity, to see how close our computer program is giving us to what you consider sunset and sunrise.
67:12:19	P	Roger. We'll make an accurate sunrise and sunset time check - over this next pass, if we can do it.
67:12:27	CC	Okay. Just any time is good and whenever you get it just phone them down to us and we'll compare it with what the computer would say.
67:12:43	CC	That's all I have on this pass, Jim. We'll see you next time around.
67:12:46	P	Roger. Elliot.
67:13:13	CC	Gemini VII, Houston. We're going to crank up the tape again and you can tune in HF later on if you want.
67:13:25	P	Sounds real fine.
67:13:27	CC	Be a few minutes before we get it going.
67:13:41	CC	Gemini VII. We show you running down a little low on the hydrogen pressure. You might bump that one up.
67:13:50	P	Roger. Will do. We're reading about 340 right now.
