This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

46:51:28	P	I am trying D-5 at the same time. Okay. We'll pull down on ... filter's down and photocells are protected from any light till they get this position. Calibrate switch is now pressed down, Betelgeuse has a green light on it and we'll rotate D-wheel all the way out. No red light at all.
46:51:59	C	Is the filter removed?
46:52:01	P	Filter is removed.
46:52:02	C	Try it on Sirius.
46:52:04	P	It stays GREEN all the time.
46:52:09	C	Can you see Sirius?
46:52:10	P	Yes, I can see Sirius.
46:52:14	P	Next, I'll try Sirius, D-wheel full-down. That's Sirius. Calibrate one that is depressed rotating.
46:52:35	P	No soap.
46:52:42	C	No soap on Sirius.
46:52:47	P	The vertical lines remain GREEN at all times. GREEN.
46:52:54	C	In the NIGHT position. I double-checked.
46:52:58	C	Ground check okay.
46:53:04	P	NIGHT position. NIGHT position.
46:53:06	C	Okay. Because of the fact that the cockpit is completely blacked out, I don't have an accurate time hack on this one, but I've had a stand on Betelgeuse now with a maximum RAD of 3 minutes.
46:53:23	P	I turned off...
46:53:24	C	Can I turn it on now?
46:53:25	P	Yes.
46:53:27	C	It's been 3 minutes. Now I'm going to max IR on Betelgeuse still.
