· 341 pages · text by GLM-OCR

This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Early passages cover staging, orbit insertion and stationkeeping with the booster, which the crew reports is venting heavily, and they photograph it. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

## CONFIDENTIAL

44:51:24	C	Since retro, four days are up. So we don't take any ...
44:51:28	CC	Yes, Frank, I think it would be best to just leave it for the moment unless it's bothering you. Let's leave it as is until we tell you differently. Okay?
44:51:38	C	Should have put it back on again for them, Chuck.
44:51:42	CC	I don't think you've got the right paste.
44:51:47	CC	Gemini VII, like to advise you that we have studied the Cryo behaviors, and we think we've got a good enough handle on them now that we'd be happy for you to use the Auto Heater positions on all three during your sleep period. We feel this'll regulate the temperature and the pressure just fine for you and you won't need to worry about waking up or controlling it during the sleep period. Then we'll go back to manual during the day.
44:52:18	C	Oh. Can you give us a report on what the projected mission completion Cryo quantities will be?
44:52:24	CC	Roger. We'll get that for you, Frank.
44:52:31	P	Hello, Elliot.
44:52:32	CC	Go ahead.
44:52:34	P	I've changed that second meal to Day 3, Meal A, not 4, Meal A.
44:52:39	CC	Roger. And you might turn up your HF. We're going to put some music out from here.
44:52:48	CC	Did you copy, Gemini VII?
44:52:50	P	Still have you.
44:52:52	CC	You can turn up your HF. We're going to put some music out for you.
44:52:56	P	Thank you.
44:52:59	CC	We'll probably lose contact here pretty soon but I'll take advantage of the time as long as I can.
