This is Volume I of III of the Gemini VII voice communications transcript, covering pages 1 to 337 and marked Confidential. It records air-to-ground, ground-to-air and on-board exchanges beginning at lift-off. Early passages cover staging, orbit insertion and stationkeeping with the booster, which the crew reports is venting heavily, and they photograph it. Later passages near 116 hours hold the crew's detailed descriptions of airglow, stars and a sunrise seen from orbit.

All indications we have are that there are absolutely no problems with it, that it's just a level of setting that's slightly touchy. 42:27:24 CC Kraft just suggested that you put a piece of tape over that light. 42:27:30 C Tell him I would, but I'm afraid it would burn. It's getting hot. 42:27:33 CC Roger. 42:27:40 C Mr. Kraft up so early? 42:27:41 CC Right. He just came on here about 10 minutes ago. 42:27:46 C Very good. 42:27:50 CC Flight just advised me he's been on for an hour and a half. 42:27:57 C Thank you. 42:29:08 C Roger. Our control valve is cycling again. 42:37:44 C The meals evidently were not packed in order, so we are eating them at random, because it's too difficult to try to sift through every one, to pick up the proper order. 42:37:49 P We're eating them as they come off the lanyard. TEXAS 43:09:41 CC Gemini VII, Gemini VII, Houston CAP COM. How do you read? ## CONFIDENTIAL
