Department of Defense. Office of the Secretary of Defense. · 2023 · 7 pages · text from the file's own layer

This is an unclassified slide presentation to NASA by Seán Kirkpatrick, Director of the Department of Defense's All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), released in full in February 2025. It covers UAP reporting trends from 1996 to 2023, typical reported characteristics such as round orbs 1 to 4 meters across, and two example cases: an unresolved 2022 Middle East orb seen by an MQ-9, and a Western US P-3 sighting judged likely commercial airliners. It closes with recommendations for NASA research and data review.
