The Office of the Director of National Intelligence and the Department of Defense issued this Fiscal Year 2023 Consolidated Annual Report on Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena in October 2023. It covers 291 UAP reports that AARO received for 31 August 2022 to 30 April 2023, bringing its total to 801. The report finds no adverse health effects, no confirmed foreign attribution and a continuing collection bias toward military airspace. An appended case resolution concludes that lights seen over western US military airspace in 2021 were commercial aircraft.
