This Federal Aviation Administration record, released in 2023, is a preliminary FAA operations report of UAP activity on July 14, 2024. Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center advised that Delta flight 1480, a Dallas-Fort Worth to Seattle service, reported a UAP on the right side of the aircraft. The crew was westbound at flight level 360, 18 miles east of Pocatello, Idaho. The report says no evasive action was taken and law enforcement notification was not required.
