This Federal Aviation Administration record gives preliminary information from FAA operations on a UFO/UAP report made on December 22, 2023. According to Salt Lake City ARTCC, the crew of Southwest 111, a B38M flying from Denver to Portland, reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon at their 12 o'clock position. The flight was northeast bound at FL340, 41 miles south-southwest of Pocatello, Idaho. The crew took no evasive action and law enforcement was not notified.
