This 2023 Federal Aviation Administration record, released by the Department of Transportation, logs a preliminary FAA operations report dated December 22, 2023. Salt Lake City Air Route Traffic Control Center reported that Delta flight 2665, an A319 flying from Atlanta to Boise, saw an unidentified aerial phenomenon at its 12 o'clock position. The aircraft was northeast bound at flight level 340, 41 miles south-southwest of Pocatello, Idaho. No evasive action was taken and law enforcement was not notified.
